It just doesn’t seem that long ago when cell phones started developing and replacing pagers. To think that when we were still studying in high schools, hand phones are rare and there were pagers everywhere. Now, we just can’t seems to get on our lives in this rapid moving world we live in today without the use of wireless phone. However, here in the new millennium you would think we would die without these tiny styles of communication. Wireless phones seem to be controlling our lives.

Today, when you studying those people around you, you are most likely to spy a cell phone in almost everyone’s hand or pocket. These convenient little toys have made the phone booth, extinct. The advantages of wireless phones range anywhere from making business deals while on the move or calling the spouse while stuck in traffic. How did we ever get along without them? If you search the web, you will find a number of cell phone services, as well as cool phone designs. A noticeable feature of cell phones is they always get smaller or more compact. However, in addition, wireless phones continue to get more advanced. Anyone remember the huge ones back around 1990? Those babies looked like military walkie-talkies compared to the mini pocket folders we have today.

Wireless phones had been revealed as an important tool to have when it comes to our safety and convenience. No matter where you go, you always have that little tool that can assist you when your car broke down or helping you to get in touch with the police in an emergency. We can also use wireless phone now to keep track of our children when they reach the dating age. Even if they don’t return our calls, there is a tracking device in their phone to disclose their location. A popular feature, which is probably used by teens more than adults, is the picture option. It’s great to be able to snap a quick shot of something or someone and pass it on to a friend. The ring tones are also a cool feature. If you have a favorite song, then you can always make it your ring tone.

With the extensive use of wireless phones, we have to be extremely careful with who we are getting in touch. In more recent events, some users have had trouble with foul text messages and random callers who have acquired their number somehow. Overall, these wondrous devices have really solved a lot of communication problems that most of us face on a daily basis. Although wireless phones have helped us ease a lot of problems since its creation, but don’t abuse its advantages by talking and driving. Always remember to use it with caution for your own safety and others.
